Wax is temperature/ humidity specific, so you need a different wax for warm spring slush than you would for a cold powder day with temperatures below freezing.
A few factors when considering what wax to choose:
- snow temperature
- air temperature
- air humidity
- wind exposure
- sun exposure
Note: If you live in a dry climate, like Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana or Idaho, you can always add graphite wax to avoid static friction in dry snow.
